The holidays are now here. We have made many choices of all different types to prepare ourselves, our families and our homes to celebrate the beauty and wonder of the season. Have you taken the time to be truly grateful for your many gifts? Grateful not only for your possessions but also for life itself, for existence, for anything and everything you experience. Wallace Wattles says, “Many people who live their lives rightly in all other ways are kept in poverty by their lack of gratitude.”
Each day I wake up and say “Thank You”. I am grateful for a brand new day and for my life. I am creating a positive outlook on my day rather than letting it take control of me. My “attitude of gratitude” has become my way of life.
Be grateful for what you have now. When you truly take the time to think about all that you have in your life to be grateful for, you will be amazed. When you share that gratitude with others the effect is also powerful. It opens doors for their own gratitude and it gives us an excellent opportunity to show our appreciation. Every person wants to be appreciated. Let’s take the time to truly show our gratitude to those we love and care about. Gratitude unlocks the fullness of our lives.
